RPS Hydrology and Flood Risk offer comprehensive flood risk management services – ranging from project-specific assessments and designs for flood mitigation and SuDS through to advice on the implementation of National Policies. The team’s projects are development-based and range across retail, commercial, housing, energy, transport and public sector developments, providing a wide range of project experience across the country.

Requirements

• 8+ year’s consultancy experience, carrying out site specific flood risk assessments for PPS25 (NPPF), TAN15 and SPP7
BSc and/or MSc/MEng in relevant discipline
• A proven track record of project management and both client and regulatory body liaison
• Experience including SUDS design and conceptual drainage design
• Knowledge of packages including Mike 21, Infoworks RS, HEC-RAS and Map-info would be of interest, but not essential as this is not a modelling position
• Excellent client management, report writing skills and general computer literacy.
