Tearfund is looking for an exceptional candidate to build the technical capacity of Tearfund’s staff, partners, and operations outside the UK in the issue of food security and livelihoods.
You will have substantial experience of food security work in development or humanitarian contexts, experience of working in community development and have familiarity with the Sustainable Livelihoods Framework. The person appointed will have a passion for learning and seeing others grow and change, as well as having strong abilities in relationship building and influencing.
This role will work primarily with our international staff and partners, with strong links to our food security policy staff. The successful candidate will be part of the Learning Information Advice and Support Team, who emphasise in different ways the importance of learning and experience creating positive change and contributing to the capacity of Tearfund staff, UK churches, partners overseas and the wider development sector.
