The UN Sasakawa award-winning town, San Francisco, in Camotes, is hoping to become an example in disaster risk reduction for other towns in the country with the newly established learning centre for other cities to learn from their experiences, reports the Manila Bulletin.

"The town has already created a disaster risk reduction center to assist towns interested in learning from their experiences," said San Francisco Vice-Mayor Alfredo Arquillano Jr.
