The key purpose of this regional event is to bring governmental representatives, civil society practitioners on one platform to engage in shared learning and shape the issues, challenges, priorities and needs of Children in Disasters in South Asia.

Pillar 1: Collective and in depth understanding of key perspectives and thematic issues around Children in Disasters:
A: Child Survival – Health – Nutrition;
B: Protection;
C: Education;
D. Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Vulnerabilities

Pillar 2: Developing a Regional Framework for Children and Disasters for application in South Asia

The workshop will develop a South Asia Regional Framework to address the Needs of Children in Disaster and Emergency Situations.
