Icelandic volcano: Long-term ash threat still hangs in the air

As scientists continue to warn that more eruptions of Eyjafjallajökull volcano in Iceland are likely in the future, Professor Bill McGuire, Director of the Aon Benfield UCL Hazard Research Centre, urged the UK Government to the establish an international science panel to catalogue, evaluate, and raise awareness of, natural hazards with the potential to affect more than one nation.
