Description

The Chair will read aloud a draft Chair’s Summary and will open the floor for discussion. He will then invite the raising of other business.

The Chair will express appreciation to all UNISDR system partners for their contributions to making the Second Session of the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction an important milestone in preparation for the interim review of the HFA in 2010 and the lead-up to COP-15 discussions scheduled for December 2009, Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Chair will close the session.
