Detailed, extensive participatory planning is a prerequisite for the setting of realistic targets, indicators and expected outcomes of effective relief programs and the design and use of clear well defined M & E tools increases the chances of the success of those programs. In addition, the constantly changing environment in which  relief projects are implemented, demands the systematic collection and accurate analysis of program data to inform appropriate decision making and for taking timely corrective actions and this seminar equips you with management tools and techniques necessary to establish and operate an effective project monitoring and evaluation system for your programs.

What ought to be apparent to relief actors is that the effectiveness of emergency relief to communities experiencing disasters is tied to not only strengthened M & E systems but adaptive monitoring tools to accurately capture  and help the analysis of data that guides objective and fast decision making.

By helping program designers and implementers review and link frameworks to project objectives, participants to this workshop are able to enhance their project design, improve the monitoring plans, frameworks and tools and effectively apply learning to both design and implementation to thus assure greater intervention results.

Cost: USD 775
