Disaster risk management special short courses

The Gravitazz Institute for Disaster Reduction and Emergency Managment is currently offering short courses designed to equip disaster risk management stakeholders towards greater effectiveness when facing crisis situations.

Due to popular demand, a special five-day course will be offered in Johannesburg (South Africa) between the 3rd and the 7th of April 2017 covering the following units:
 - Climate change and water resource management for drought-prone areas
 - Strategic disaster risk planning and management 
 - Use of GIS technology for emergency preparedness and response: meteorological forecast           in    DRR planning
 - Disaster Risk Management for Senior Managers
 - Information Management for Decision Making in Disasters and Humanitarian Emergencies

We strongly urge prospective candidates to register no later than 2 weeks (14 days) before the training's starting date in order to guarantee their participation.
