About the Course:

The course provides a better understanding of how gender mainstreaming contributes to equitable processes and efficient outcomes in disaster management with specific focus on disaster recovery and reconstruction. It reviews the aspects of disaster management where gender concerns arise, and introduces options - policies and tools - to consider in mainstreaming gender in disaster recovery and reconstruction for better results. Gender mainstreaming in disaster reduction is a parallel but inter linked process in the mainstreaming of disaster reduction into sustainable development policies and activities.The course focuses on integration of gender perspective into all disaster risk management policies,plans and decision making process.

Admission Procedure:

Course Fee: Rs 1000 (INR)

Submission of Application form in soft copy and hard copy with prescribed fee in terms either demand draft or NEFT Bank Transfer. People from outside India can pay fee through bank transfer.

Please note, the application along with fee details in soft copy must reach NIDM 7 days before the scheduled course date. NIDM will send the course link and enrollment key for particular course at least 3 days before the scheduled date on your given email id. All the instructions about the registration process for particular course will be provide in advance to all the applicants.
