The aim of the conference is the exchange of knowledge and experiences on disaster-related resilience among researchers, politicians, officials and practitioners.

The conference language is Swedish but with four keynotes and some sessions in English.

  • Professor Dilanthi Amara Heavy, director of the Global Disaster Resilience Centre at the University of Huddersfield, UK
  • Professor Brenda Phillips, director of the Emergency Response Training Center at Ohio University, USA
  • Dr. Chris Zebrowski, a researcher at Loughborough University, UK
  • Kristin Baja, climate and resiliensplanerare at the Office of Sustainability in Baltimore City, Maryland.
  • Britt Bohlin, Nordic Council Per de la Gardie, PA at Saab
  • Ulrika Årehed Kågström, Secretary General of the Swedish Red Cross
