Plan International Cambodia: ADDM and IDDR 2015

Plan International Cambodia commemorated the IDDR 2015 together with ASEAN Day for Disaster Management 2015 under the theme “ASEAN is Resilient as One” which reinforces ASEAN’s joint efforts as One Community to address the interlocking issues of natural disasters and climate change.

Key activities:

1. Drawing Competition (Children under 18-National Activities): Focus on “School resilience in disaster and climate change embodying the ASEAN’s spirit and aspirations as “ONE”;
2. DRR Exhibition and Market Space along with the Drawing Exhibition for the public to promote the efforts on disaster risk management and climate change adaptation ;
3. Thematic discussion focusing on school safety initiatives, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation, and relevant ASEAN frameworks;
4. National Parade to highlight the inclusiveness of ASEAN as One Resilient Community
