Session tracks:

Track 1: Resilient Company

A resilient company anticipates change and turns it to an advantage both commercially and for the wider world. The resilient company understands fundamental shifts in business conditions that are shaped by rapid developments in technology, culture, public policy, and the environment—and navigates these changing conditions in the short run while staying focused on long-term value.

Track 2: Resilient Leader

In today's volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world, resilient leadership is more necessary than ever. A resilient leader exercises “soft power” in integrating sustainability throughout the company, anticipates and manages unexpected changes at the intersection of business and society, and builds collaborative solutions.

Track 3: Resilient Community

Rapid economic and environmental changes can create new realities overnight. A resilient community thrives in this context, drives social equity for all, and provides an adaptive environment. Companies have an important role to play in helping create resilient communities in places where they invest and operate.

Track 4: Resilient System

Many of the systems we rely upon for a healthy economy—governance systems, market systems, and natural ecosystems—are experiencing unprecedented pressures, and need to be re-imagined. The resilient system takes into account disruptions stemming from transparency, technology, climate change, and more and enables new models of shared, sustainable prosperity.

Track 5: Climate Resilience

Companies across sectors and regions need to manage climate risks effectively to ensure prosperity for years to come. While companies focus on reducing emissions to prevent further temperature increases, they must also adapt to the inevitable climate impacts that are already built into the system. How can companies plan, implement, and innovate to become more resilient and sustainable in the face of our changing climate?

BSR University trainings will be held in AM and PM sessions on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) prior to the opening reception of the Conference. If you would like to attend a training, you can select the specific session during the registration process.
