Announcing the Annual Bhutan School Preparedness Drill 2013 - a mass earthquake preparedness drill to be conducted in Every school in Bhutan at 10:15 am on 20th September 2013. September 21st is the 4th anniversary of the Mongar earthquake, but this commemorative event is being done a day earlier due to the National Holiday for Blessed Rainy Day here.

This effort is being provided technical and coordination support by GeoHazards Society (supported by the Czech Republic Embassy, New Delhi) and carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Department of Disaster Management, Government of Bhutan.

Looking forward to all your support in making this an important awareness generation event successful and hoping to make it an annual event.
