The Global Assessment Report (GAR) aims to focus international attention on disaster risk, the need to manage and reduce it, and consolidate political and economic support. The International Journal of Disaster Resilience in the Built Environment has published a special issue on selected input/theme papers associated with GAR 2015, with free access until July 31/16.
