PreventionWeb accepts disaster risk reduction (DRR) content submissions from organizations working to reduce risk and vulnerability across all countries, various themes/issues and hazards. Please note that we do not publish individual work or editorials without an accompanying organization source.

Share your disaster risk reduction activities by selecting:

  • Academic programmes Higher education, accredited programmes on or including disaster risk management and DRR leading to degrees or certificates at the Bachelors, Masters or PhD levels

  •  
  • An existing network or a community Online listservs and communities of practice (CoPs) -- public or private -- promoting the exchange of information and experience in DRR

    Submit an existing network or CoP contact us to set one up.

  • Documents or publications Publication abstracts highlighting DRR with links to full text or publishers including books, case studies, good practice, guidelines, position papers, studies and reports

    Submit at least one example of your organization's work for publication, or submit your organization's DRR profile.

  • Policy, plans or statements Official governmental and intergovernmental policy, plans and statements on DRR including HFA progress reports on the implementation of the Hyogo Framework for Action and related development reports
