The main objective of the Philippine Tourism Conference on Climate Change (PTCCC) is to provide a venue for tourism and cultural workers and practitioners for vital actors to agree that Philippine tourism climate change adaptation action is a critical developmental concern that needs to be addressed to meet our National Climate Change Action Plan (NCCAP) and the 2015 MDGs commitments.
The PTCCCA will generate tourism development in terms of infrastructures and practices that comply with the mandates of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010 and the Climate Change Act of 2009. This event will enlighten stakeholders, business entities and local government units across the country on scientific adaptation practices to make communities resilient to nature, particularly those engaged in the tourism industry.
