Shock Waves - 2 (International Film Festival on Disaster Risk Reduction) is being organised consecutively for second year. This year's programme is being organised in collaboration with Japan Foundation, India.

Global Forum for Disaster Reduction (GFDR) is committed to provide an international platform to producers of these documentaries and films from different parts of the world. This results in experience sharing and raising awareness. This would also sensitize common people and decision makers towards issues raised through these films.
