Preparing defense services employees of Canteen Stores Department in India

Saritsa Foundation in partnership with Canteen Stores Department of Defense Services, Government of India, is organizing workshops for officers, staff and their families to raise their awareness and impart education and practical training to build their capacity to cope with disasters.

It is an initiative by Saritsa Foundation where civilians as defense employees of Canteen Stores Department are being main streamed in the process of capacity building for DRR, thus transforming DRR as people centered, people led and people owned campaign.

It is an initiative as good practice where many societal groups have to be interwoven progressively to make DRR a reality.
