The 2012 UN Climate Change Conference, COP 18/CMP 8 (the 18th Conference of Parties to the UNFCCC, the 8th session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol) and the World Climate Summit will take place in Qatar from 26 November to 7 December 2012.

The Doha Conference will comprise of:

- The 18th Conference of the Parties (COP)
- The 8th Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP)
- The 37th session of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA)
- The 37th session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI)
- The second part of the 17th session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP)
- The second part of the 15th session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA)
- The second part of the 1st session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP)

The Pre-COP Ministerial meeting is taking place in Seoul, Korea, 22-23 October 2012.
