The United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR) and partners (The World Health Organization (WHO), The International Federation of the Red Crescent (IFRC/MRC), The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Ministry of Education of the Maldives, the National Disaster Management Centre (NDMC) and TV Maldives) will organize a field trip for school children to Dhuvaafaru Island, which was severely hit by the 2004 tsunami. A television debate among the children will be aired and the awards ceremony of a drawing competition will be held.
