This report underscores the importance of educational buildings and furnitures in Asia and the Pacific to minimize injuries through accidents to children. It reproduces the proceedings of an OECD seminar on safety and security held in semmering, Austria, May 1987. It covers safety and security in design and construction, day-to-day use and maintenance, educational use, and misuse.
