This guide is a tool for community and local organisations and instructors concerned to help them draw up risk maps with a view to prepare and build capacities to better withstand risks they are confronted with. In a simple format, it defines a map risk and indicates the way to build it up, its main interest being to identify risks (past, present and future), their geographical situation, and to share the community's views with the authorities and organisations to help them take decisions.
