This issue contains a unit which should be integrated into school curricula. It explains floods, their causes, their various categories. Also provides a calendar where local floods in the past can be listed, with their causes and impacts, together with various exercices and a space for risk mapping. Gives recommendations to be followed before, during and after floods' occurrence. (UNEsCO)
