Learning to live with floods: natural hazards and disasters

The booklet gives an overview on the flood hazard in Sri Lanka and on prevention and protection from flood disasters. It presents types of flooding, flood warnings, impacts, dangers, and survival tips. The target group are teachers who want to improve their knowledge about flood in order to teach the topic better in school.

The booklet is based on a model from ADPC and was adapted to the Sri Lankan context by the National institute of Education with support of relevant technical experts.
