Description

The programme is designed to provide graduates with the knowledge and tools to be successful emergency managers in the public and private sectors of the Northwest. The program's graduates will gain the problem solving capabilities, to prepare for, respond to and recover from and mitigate disasters & emergencies. The program provides a multi disciplinary approach requiring a core set of courses needed to address issues common to virtually all hazards, and other courses addressing special topics including public health and transportation security. The 34 credit, 11 course program will be presented one course at a time and each course will run for six week period. Classes will be held every other weekend beginning Friday evening and ending Saturday afternoon.

Admission Requirement

A Bachelors degree, minimum of two years professional work experience, Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores, three professional references, TOEFL scores for students from non English speaking countries. Application Procedure

Along with duly filled application form applicants are required to submit proof of at least two years' professional work experience, Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores, three professional references, official college transcripts, a statement of professional objective and a current résumé. Admission will be based on the overall evaluation of the prospective student's application together with a personal interview. Tuition and Cost
