This professional master's degree would be suitable for those who are currently working in disaster-related institutions and would like to expand their knowledge base to meet the present and future performance challenges. Credits earned in this degree can be transferred to regular master degree program in DPMM if the requirements are met. Students will have to cover 33 credits plus a summer.
Disaster risk management, Early warning, Remote sensing, GIS, Resilience, Disaster planning, Urban environment planning, Human conflicts, Georisk engineering, Geospatial technology, Climate forecasting.
Potential candidates with engineering, architecture, management, natural and social sciences backgrounds can apply. Those with backgrounds in relevant fields of study or work experiences will be given priority for selection.
