This course addresses the engineering aspects involved in many types of emergency situations, such as explosions, floods and wars. The course aims to provide the students with the skills and expertise required for a career in disaster relief engineering. This course trains the students to perform structural assessment of part-collapsed buildings, or designing flood defence works or water supply networks in areas of drought.

Admission Requirement

High school or senior secondary graduation. The program requires between 180 - 240 tariff points from at least two 6-unit awards or equivalent, one must be in mathematics, management, science or public services. Tuition and Cost
