This is a two master degree programme offered by Dhaka University facilitated by Centre for Disaster and Vulnerability Studies (cDVS), Department of Sociology. This degree is open for them who have four years honours or three year honours with master degree from any discipline.
- Individuals, either Bangladeshi or foreign nationals, who have at least an Honours Bachelor Degree or its equivalent from any recognized university or at least a four year graduation degree from any recognized institution, such as medical college, engineering university/college, agricultural university/college etc., or master degree with pass course graduation.
- Individuals in the field of environment, disaster and development areas with practical experiences and who are currently in service are encouraged to apply. Those who have appeared in the Honours final examination or Masters final examination with pass course graduation or its equivalent degree may also apply, but they have to submit their certificates and marks sheets within seven days of the written admission test, otherwise their candidature will be cancelled.
The filled-in application form along with the money receipt, three attested passport size photographs, and attested copies of academic certificate and marks sheet of all examinations from relevant Board/Universities must be submitted to the Office of the Centre for Disaster and Vulnerability Studies by 21 December, 2011. Admission test will be held on 23 December, 2011 at 3.00 pm.
