The evening programme is designed for emergency management professionals with hand on experience to handle emergency situations. The programme helps students to gain a broader understanding about the context of disaster management, its components and operations.

Disaster management professionals
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. A grade point average of 3.0 or higher on all college and university academic work attempted. For students who have completed an undergraduate degree in emergency management or a related field, a minimum of two years paid or volunteer experience in the field. For students with other majors, a minimum of three years experience in the field. Students who do not meet experience or grade point average requirements may be considered on a case-by-case basis and admitted conditionally after demonstrating other significant achievements that make satisfactory completion of the course of study likely. All final applicants will be interviewed by the Program Director. Students whose native language is not English, or whose collegiate level or secondary level instruction was not in English, must also earn a score of at least 550 on the paper-based, 213 on the computer-based or 80 on the internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
Completed Application form, Non-refundable USD 50.00 graduate application fee. Official transcripts from all the school and colleges attended. Official TOEFL scores. A personal statement detailing professional background, interest in the emergency management field and interest in pursuing an advanced degree in disaster science.
