Description

This trandisciplinary Masters degree in Sustainable Development offers a specialisation in Disaster Management. The programme aims to build capacity in multidisciplinary disaster risk management (including vulnerability reduction) in Africa. It focuses to advance critical thinking skill sin disaster reduction and the integration thereof into development and other planning. The programme follows a semi-distance learning model. Students are required to attend two sessions per semester.

Admission Requirement

Any honours degree or National Higher Technikon diploma or the postgraduate Diploma in Development and Management and relevant working experience. All applications will be evaluated on merit basis by the programme committee. Access to internet and an e-mail address is a must.
