This document provides an overview of the UNDP's Global Environment Facility's support to countries to affect policy and institutional change for climate change adaptation (CCA) at the national, sub-national, and community levels. It includes updates on a range of topics including the status of on-going projects, new project approvals, performance indicators, project impacts and results, and noteworthy announcements. These include: (i) supporting CCA in Asia Pacific; (ii) multi-sectoral approach to addressing climate change in the Maldives; (iii) advancing the development agenda in tandem with CCA projects in Tuvalu; (iv) participatory mapping and community empowerment for CCA planning and advocacy; (v) strengthening climate early warning systems across Africa in support of climate resilient development; and (vi) adaptation initiatives taking hold in Sudan.
