Reducing risks through community-based disaster risk reduction: enhancing disaster resilience of at risk communities

This issue presents articles covering different aspects of community-based approach in disaster risk reduction (DRR) context. The articles, contributed by both experts and practitioners from Government institutions and Non-Government organisations address key questions for action in community-based disaster risk reduction (CBDRR). Practitioners have shared learning from project implementation with coastal communities of Odisha and West Bengal states of India.
