This report presents case studies from the Building Disaster Resilient Communities project and the DIPECHO projects, which demonstrate the impact of disaster risk reduction work at all levels and offer some examples for replication and scale-up. All examples involve partnerships between communities, NGOs, scientific or technical institutions and different areas of government.
The case studies focus on Honduras, the Philippines, El Salvador, Malawi, Mali, Burkina Faso, India, Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh.
