Damage/needs assessment in the affected area of the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku: earthquake and tsunami


This report is the summary of a post disaster assessment of the areas most affected by the 2011 Great East Japan earthquake and tsunami. The survey evaluates the damage caused, people's needs and goes on to describe what worked well concluding with key initial lessons learned. It was carried out by SEEDS Asia, OYO International Corporation and Kyoto University in Iwate and Miyagi Prefecture.
