Philippines: President Benigno S. Aquino III, third state of the nation address

This statement is President Benigno S. Aquino's third state of the nation address given to the Congress of the Philippines on July 23, 2012, in which President Aquino discusses disaster risk reduction and management. Issues addressed: (i) current projects being implemented to prepare for typhoons; (ii) early warning technology and monitoring; (iii) forest land, farmland, and livelihoods; and (iv) the private sector.
