Cameroon civil protection status report 2008-2009

The present DRR Status Report in Cameroon titled “Civil Defence through life-saving actions”, includes Disaster Relief, notably the First Aid, Rescue, Evacuation and Emergency Assistance Techniques. It is mostly devoted to the inventory of major disasters that occurred in 2008 and the analysis of Government Policy towards DRR and other hazards.

What is published is an English summary. The Cameroon National Focal Point for DRR (DPC-MINATD), with the high supervision of the Minister of State, Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization, has published its sixth edition of Cameroon Status Report on Civil Protection for the year 2008 in the two official languages in order to expand the impacts of this important tool of sensitization, communication, information and advocacy on DRR.
