Myanmar,Thailand discuss technical cooperation, capacity building

Officials from Myanmar and Thailand met yesterday in Yangoon to discuss technical cooperation to promote the capacity building of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, national multi-hazard early warning system and the rehabilitation works on the cyclone Nargis affected areas.

The cooperation is being carried out between Myanmar's Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) and Thailand's International Development Cooperation Agency, National Institute of Emergency Medicine Service System and Weather Forecast Bureau.
