Philippines: DepEd sees need to integrate disaster, risk reduction plans in schools

The Department of Education (DepEd) said there is a need to reduce risks caused by disasters and provide protection to children, reports the Sun Star. "It is important that government agencies and our partners in the private sector work together in formulating, planning and implementing disaster risk reduction policies, plans and projects," said DepEd Undersecretary Lino Rivera
