USA: Advocates urge planning for children ahead of storms

Special precautions for children is the focus of the annual National Hurricane Conference taking place in Atlanta this week reports Savannahnow.

“We really realized that a lot of the issues that come up internationally come up here, too,” said Alessandra Jerolleman, programme specialist with Save the Children, based in New Orleans.
