Asia: 'Showcase' of natural hazards - expert

University of Tokyo professor, Teruyuki Kato, stressed on Tuesday the vulnerability of the Asian region to natural hazards, where he stated, floods, wind storms and earthquakes account for 71 percent of the natural hazards in the region. Kato was speaking at the 10th Science Council of Asia Conference.
