India: Himachal sets up a centre to study climate change

The Indian Express highlights the establishment of a new data centre for climate change in Himachal Pradesh to strengthen disaster preparedness for natural hazards and to develop mitigation and adaptation strategies.

The reporter also adds that a State Resource Information Centre (SRIC) will be set up by the Indian government as a data centre for the environment, natural resources and climate change.
