Research programmes in Indonesia and Thailand show that children can play an important role in climate change and DRR. This was recently presented in Stockholm by Avianto Amri, disaster management specialist from Plan International, Indonesia.

"Why do we involve children in disaster reduction? First is that children like to do something to help, also if the children know, they are the ones who act quickly. There is nothing impossible," said Amri.
