Gender working group on Disaster Risk Reduction

UNISDR is bringing together a group of experts with accumulated experience and understanding of gender mainstreaming in disaster risk reduction, environmental resource management, climate change processes and governance.

This working space will be used to peer review guidelines, tools and case studies that will increase understanding of gendersensitive disaster risk reduction. The outcome of the peer review will be a publication that will be distributed to ISDR System partners, national platforms and local authorities.
