The campaign works with more than 1050 vulnerable schools from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal states/Union Territories of India as well as neighbouring countries like Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Myanmar. The Campaign developed various activities based on disaster response and local experience with the school stakeholders. Currently campaign emphasizing its work in vulnerable schools located in urban and coastal areas. The All India Disaster Mitigation Institute (AIDMI) - India-AIDMI has received over 400 enthusiastic requests from organizations and individuals representing 48 countries across the globe, from northern or southern civil society or governments, UN, Red Cross movement, donors, researchers and consultants that are either already engaged or interested in making schools safer.
