Mission & Disaster Reduction Profile

UNS is the second largest multidisciplinary university in France with 25,000 students and stands out as a higher education institution strongly committed to international openness. Its academic facilities include: eight campuses, two institutes, a School of engineering, a College for Doctoral Studies, an Institute for Scientific Culture, over 60 research labs, and more. Having fully adapted to the European LMD system effective since 2004, the University delivers over 230 diplomas recognized throughout the European Union.

UNS has created the Mediterranean Institute for risk, environment and sustainable development (MIRESuD) to focus on eduction, research and development on these topics.
