Mission & Disaster Reduction Profile
To foster national ownership of the disaster reduction process, UNISDR Africa provides tailored assistance to the establishment of national platforms with national leadership and cost sharing. At the same time, it endeavoures to reinforce partnership with already-established UNISDR National Platforms through mutual support in disaster reduction initiatives.
