Mission

EBCCM is considered as one of the first highly specialized center for training, consultations, studies and arbitrations in the Middle East within the field of crises, risk, and emergency management. It was established in Jordan by Dr.Naill Momani in 2006 to fulfill the gap in such needs for the Arab countries. Dr. Ayman Fadil the TIEMS-MENA Chapter Co-Director joined EBCCM efforts to establish scientific disaster risk management discipline in Gulf countries through registering EBCCM as house of experiences within Business and Knowledge Alliances at King Abdul Aziz University-Saudi Arabia in 2010.

Disaster Reduction Goal

Public and institutional awareness of the need to adopt crisis management issues.

Reduce and prevent future human and monetary losses due to disasters.

Coordinate national and Arabic efforts in the field of crisis management.

Provide educated people in the field of crisis management to public and private institutions.

Play regional role in the field of crisis management.

Excellence in Business Continuity and Crisis Management:

EBCCM has one of the few recognized experts in business continuity and crisis management in the Middle East region and could develop and get accreditation for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Disaster and Crises Management

EBCCM provides excellence training for ERT (Emergency Response Team), BCT (Business Continuity Team) to improve their response capabilities to future crises.

EBCCM build its clients business continuity and contingency plans based on realistic risk assessment and management studies.

EBCCM team develops and use the Earthquake Consequences Model (ECM) that could be used for any political and geographical areas to help decision makers and politicians improve their response capabilities for future earthquakes.

EBCCM help governments to develop and maintain their National Disaster Management Plans that could be based on realistic expectations.

EBCCM help international agencies such as WHO, World Bank, UN-ISDR, IFRC to oversight their crises and disaster management activities within the Middle East region to maximize the use of their committed resources.
