Armenia is deemed one of the most disaster prone countries in the world. It is prone to all types of disasters except the sea ones. Severe earthquakes, frequently occurring landslides, hail storms, drought, strong winds, floods threaten the safty of people and cause considerable damage impending the sustainable development of the country.
