United States: large scale earthquake preparedness exercise

Emergency Operations and Coordinations Centers (EOC) at all levels of government and the privacte sector in the Pacific Northwest are kicking off a massive drill to rehearse scenarios on how the region would deal with a 9.0 Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake. Thousands of people, including military personnel, will participate to test a joint response.
