A recent drill to challenge and improve disaster preparedness and response abilities in Metro Manila was an overall success, but there is room to improve. Mike Marasigan, head of Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council - a high risk area, highlighted the importance for local governments and citizens to know their roles and responsibilities.
